CovCath 7 George Rogers Clark 3 in the Boyd County Derby Classic, or didn't someone once say that pitching is 90% of the game.

 

All I know about this game is that Danny Niehaus pitched a complete game. Now when you consider that Nutini pitched a complete game on Friday night, Niehaus pitches a complete game this morning and Isler for all particular purposes pitched a complete game against NewCath on Wednesday, the CovCath pitching staff is hitting on all it's cylinders at the moment......

 

BTW have been told that CovCath is at the moment beating Lawrence County by a score of 10-6 in the bottom of the seventh. Sophomore Krumme started and then Klein and Isler have come in to throw some innings.

 

Not a bad weekend for CovCath and if this leads holds CovCath will have a record of 19-6 and could hit that magic twenty mark Tuesday against Bishop Brossart.
