You all need to let this rest about the transfer. The question is, would it effect WV if she ended up going there, with her just being a freshman. Answer: probably not!

Oh, it would definitely effect W-V. The player is a quality player and would probably start at the point for WV, possibly even Ryle. Even though she is young, so are a lot of the Lady Bearcats. A big question WV is trying to answer this summer is who will play the point. So far I think there are a few options. Carla Howe, Senior with little experience, Tori Lay, Sophomore, less experience, Jenna Lee Ginn, Freshmen, better at the 2, Molly Clinkenbeard, 8th Grader, Better at the two. Shelby Mulliken, 7th grader. will be very good, but she is only a 7th grader.

In this mix Cheeseman is probably the best option at the point if she were to return. But there are many questions. Will she return? How would she be accepted by the teammates she left for the summer? and how will her parents respond to the new coaching staff?

It will indeed be interesting to see how this plays out. My money is still on her being at Ryle. Probably the best solution for everyone.

If she does end up at Ryle I guess this thread will go on forever. At least you all are not talking about the coaching staff. At least not yet!

True, if she is eligible to play.

Gatorfan, I am curious to know why people should let this topic go.

I think there has been some interesting conversation and topics and will continue to be. Cheeseman would definitely help Walton and CP24 was right on with his assessment. However, I don't she her starting at Ryle this year. She may contribute but she is a year or two away.

I guess we will see what happens this coming year!

Any reports on how the team has looked this summer?

They look like a young team with a new coach. They should be fine, but it is going to take time.

Could be two transfers coming into WV if this happens and one would be a PG.

Shoudn't you be asking what AAU team with a coach who has a daughter who will attend Walton Verona. This is an easy one!
