April 26, 200818 yr Just that time of the year. Nothing to say, gotta say something...... Seems like there is plenty to say on the UK front without adding in Meeks right now...
April 26, 200818 yr Seems like there is plenty to say on the UK front without adding in Meeks right now... GT - are we going to end up with Majok, Harrellson, and Flemmings?
April 26, 200818 yr GT - are we going to end up with Majok, Harrellson, and Flemmings? All three? No...
April 26, 200818 yr All three? No... Would you say at least 2 of those 3 and then maybe the other guy that we told we didn't have a scholly for yet?
April 26, 200818 yr Would you say at least 2 of those 3 and then maybe the other guy that we told we didn't have a scholly for yet? Get back to me in a week and I should have a better grasp on things. If they really want a G, then a lot will be shanken up a little...
April 26, 200818 yr Wow, this is getting crazy! There is a new story every 5 minutes. I did hear that Majok went back to Australia without committing to UConn. I know hes doubtful, but he did not commit yet.
April 26, 200818 yr Why does this constantly come up? What would he have to gain going to G. Tech? We are going to run the kid off with this type of stuff all the time.
April 26, 200818 yr Why does this constantly come up? What would he have to gain going to G. Tech? We are going to run the kid off with this type of stuff all the time. Every shot he wants...this is one guy we don't have to worry about. His head is as straight on as any player thats been at UK.
April 26, 200818 yr Lot of talk out there that Meeks will also transfer. This is getting old. Meeks put an end to that rumor weeks ago!
April 27, 200818 yr Why does this constantly come up? What would he have to gain going to G. Tech? We are going to run the kid off with this type of stuff all the time. Exactly!! People don't think that this has a barring on recruits coming or leaving UK but it does. I've had experience with a family member who was an assistant in the SEC and Conference USA and he knows the recruiting business. Recruits, players, and player's parents look at sites like this before making a choice, maybe not this particular site but site similiar to Preps. It's a big reason why us UK fans have such a bad reputation as crazed maniacs with unrealistic standards. Good point Bell!
April 27, 200818 yr It sounds (and I hope) like Dick Gabriel may have jumped the gun a bit. We really need Jodie Meeks next season! Dick Gabriel does not jump the gun. If he put it out there, it is real and substantial. If it does it fact happen, remains to be seen, but if Dick reported it, it is much more than just a rumor.
