You must not be old enough to remember the Carter years, or they were so bad you just want to forget them. Double digit inflation and unemployment and interest rates around 14% or higher. Then he blew the Iran situation by not backing the Shah and then the dismal response to the hostage situation. Not all was his fault, but his responses were pathetic. Thanks Mr. Carter for giving us the world we live in today.
