That's not good enough. He needs to go for worst approval rating ever for the sake of posterity. C'mon G-Dub!

Bush has had the higest approval rating of all time, and the highest disapproval rating of all time.

I'd be more interested in this Senate's overall approval rating.

He has already achieved the highest disapproval rating of any president in the 70 year history of the Gallup poll. That's a little like breaking the bathroom scale--you may not be the fattest person who has ever lived, but you're fat enough to do some damage.

So, in a sense you could say, "Mission Accomplished".

Bush has had the higest approval rating of all time, and the highest disapproval rating of all time.

It is somewhat reminiscent of his father. He too took an unbelieveably high approval rating after the Persian Gulf War in '91 and dwindled it to a loss in campaign '92. (Although George the Elder never dipped this low in his polls)

Historically speaking, all Presidents follow the same trend of bottoming out by the end of their tenure.

Pretty much. Even Reagan wore out his welcome in some circles after Iran-Contra but if anyone sustained it well it was him. He's the exception to the rule.

Not all Presidents. FDR & Clinton both left office more popular than when they entered. It is unusual, though.

Thank you!:thumb:

Congress always, and I mean always, has low total approval ratings... but everyone loves their individual representatives and senators.

Yeah, I've never seen a "Fire Congress" choice on the ballot.

Many might pull that lever if it ever did appear.:D
