We are talking about in GABP, not exactly the Grand Canyon . I would hope that the Reds could find someone that could hit for average with some power plus be coordinated enough to run and actually catch a baseball in the outfield! Dunn is terrible.

I don't think that they would either.

Maybe we could trade him for a case of sunflower seeds, some "big league chew" bubble gum and not have to pay the vendor too much extra to take the deal.

Trade Coffey to a little league team where he MIGHT get someone out without allowing a run.

So I look at the score a while back and see the Reds are up 10-5, they were due for a breakout win and looked like they had it.

 

I just look at the final and see how it all played out, just WOW, I would just send Coffey to Dayton for the rest of his career. :lol:

At the beginning of the year I started the original Track the Reds thread because the people who had started it the past two year simply didn't get the job done. We decided to start a new thread each week so the thread doesn't go on for hundres and hundreds of pages. I asked GT to start the new one each week after I closed the previously week's thread. Boy, was that a huge mistake. Let's just take a look at who started each week's thread, and the Reds record that week.

 

 

Week One- LRCW- Reds 4-2

 

Week Two- Gametime- Reds 2-5

 

Week Three- Gametime- Reds 2-4

 

Week Four- HammerTime- The Reds are currently 2-4, looking at 3-4 or 2-5.

 

Needless to say, I'll take care of starting next week's thread. :mad::lol:

I would rather have a mid relief pitcher from the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks vs. Todd Coffey.

Why would the Rays even take that call? They've got Crawford signed long term and Dunn is a free agent after this year. They aren't going to contend this season, they can wait til November, pay Dunn and have both on the team if they want.

I sure as hell hope that Zito continues to pitch like Judge Ito because the Reds really need to take two from the lowly Giants.

I too turned it off at 10-5. I agree with those who want Coffey gone. Someone mentioned Weathers, don't, he's done. Severe case of Stantonitus If the Reds can score 10 evry game, I think they turn out OK this season:D:irked:
