College football is the best sport on TV, as far as I am concerned. Followed by the NFL. The NFL is the only professional sport that I can watch, I just can't watch MLB or the NBA.

Touch choice between college basketball and college football, but I chose football.

It is close between NFL and College Basketball, but the difference is in that no matter who playing, where, what time, anything, I will watch college basketball. If it is two NFL duds playin' on Sunday afternoon I don't watch. College basketball wins...

NHL because the playoffs are the most intense of any sport.

It really depends what time of year it is. I enjoy most sports. If I had to list favorites it would be....

College football

college baseball

High School football

High School baseball

NFL

NBA

NFL by a long margin. It's the only one that keeps me pretty much captivated (other than the 2 weeks between the SB and conference championships, which is complete overkill) from the beginning of the season to the end, no matter whether my team's winning or not.

 

With MLB, I always follow closely as long as I can, but usually in August I have to slack off a bit because of work conflicts, but I make as much time for the Reds as I can.

 

NCAA football I get very excited about as well, but if I've got something I need to do on a fall weekend, and it's going to take a whole day, it's getting done on Saturday unless the Steelers are on bye week or MNF.

 

NCAA hoops is great, and probably my No. 2, but I don't really start following closely (i.e., every night of the week) until after New Year's and the conference seasons start. Sure, I'll check out the higher profile games, but if it's Tuesday night in December, I'm more likely to be at a HS game than at home watching Louisville against a directional school.

 

I do get caught up in tennis during the major events, especially Wimbledon and the French, because it gives me an excuse to go into the office late on mornings during those fortnights. Love the US Open as well, especially because of the wild late-night matches and the great NYC crowd.

 

I don't mind a college baseball, volleyball or softball game from time to time, but other than that I don't follow any other sports, save for thoroughbred racing.

NFL, and it's not even close.

I think the numbers will be off, because of this website. This site is known for high school sports first, college basketball 2nd. I know guys who know about this site and have no clue you can talk about NFL football. National polls show that the NFL has a huge lead over all other in the US.

College football and basketball. Not a huge fan of pro sports, but I still follow them.
