None of those things you bolded are racists in and of themselves and if you find it racist I think you really need to look at your own attitudes. I am not racist. You can imply that all you want. The churches website says they are an unabashedly black congregation . . . they must have forgotten to mention the whites . . . they said it . . . I didn't. As I have said before, I will now say again the fact that I don't---won't support Obama has nothing to do with his skin color . . . I simply don't agree with a single one of his policies . . . period. No racist issue here.

But it only takes a very small amount of pure cocaine to make a large amount of crack. Considering the only ingredients to the 100 times more addictive substance are baking soda, water, and cocaine, wouldn't logic dictate that the only illegal ingredient be enforced on the same scale as the product, if not more so? I'm sure ace is comparing the user base of crack versus that of pure cocaine with the punishment for each, and while I have no fundamental understanding of it, the logic doesn't add up on my end.

Is reverend Wright the only Pastor BLACK OR WHITE to make these statements?? Is Racism still in the White church???? The guys that where and still in the KKK are they not in the church still... March 21, 200818 yr I don't buy this argument, I don't suffer from white guilt like many do either though. EVERYONE can make something better of themselves if they want to and the color of your skin has zero to do with it. There are plenty of black people that make a lot more than I do, and I say good for them. They worked hard and earned it. So you are saying that if some people don't make it out or make something of themselves, it's their own fault? That my friend, is known as "Blaming the Victim".

There are studies which prove that just as many white people (percentage) are known to use/carry drugs but more black people (percentage based) are arrested, searched, and eventually convicted. Minorities are over represented in our prison system right now and white people likely commit just as many crimes.
March 21, 200818 yr And what about sentencing disparities which lead to overrepresentation of blacks in the prison system both because they're more likely to get time for an offense and whites are more likely to receive probation, and the obvious reason: since African Americans get more time for the same crime, that means they're more likely to still be in jail when more are sent up. But, no, RTS, you're right- it's just because they break the law more.
