Clark will be the team to beat in the tenth stop talking about freshman records and J.V. records because most of Clark Counties freshman and J.V.team were playing varsity ball. The bench for Clark county and the roll players are super players and the stat sheet shows even scoring the whole season. We just happen to have a few studs in the mix too!

I think you mean role instead of roll. I am not disrespecting your opinion like you have mine, I still believe Mason will be in the mix with their freshman and JV players. :flame:

 

In the mix...yes. I just would not rank them pre-season #1. The 10th next year could have several teams that could win it all. As I postered eariler my top 3 are

GRC

Mason

Scott.

1. Mason Co

2. Clark Co

As I posted earlier I like Mason as preseason No. 1.

Let's not count Montgomery out of it next year either, maybe not the best, but let's not forget about them!

I dont believe there is a team other then maybe mason and grc that will have a tougher schedule than montgomery next year and I am not even sold on that yet since they have not came up with next seasons schedules. Montgomery will be on the list believe that. Sure they graduated some kids but there are powers at work that will make sure they are competing in March. Dont put them too far down the list, you might be setting yourself up for a suprise.

Believe me I have not forgoten about Montgomery Co.... I just listed my top 3 . The region will be more even than it has been in a long while....not really a favorite.

Not sure on Montgomerys schedule but I know that GRC schedule will include the 5/3 Toyotta Classic, and working out a game with Ballard. Also know that Elliott Co will be on there too.

 

What about Mason Co what will thier schedule look like next year?

Next year I don't think anyone is going to win the region by 20-30 points all the way through.

GRC has to be #1 with Stenzel, Hatton, Williams, and Rogers returning starters and Purvis and Kindred ready to step up and take more minutes

 

Mason at #2 in my book. Middleton and Downing return and their JV team absolutely blew out people when I saw them play.

 

I'm going to put Campbell at #3 with Nerl, Albrecht and Franzen back along with their young shooter who came off the bench this year. It will be interesting to see how they handle losing both ball handlers.

 

I'm a homer and will put the Indians of Montgomery Co. at #4. Brandon Rash and Nic Hendrix return along with sharpshoothers Azrey Crisp and Cody Curtis and top post sub Tyler Combs. Watch for junior to be Logan Manship to come on strong next year.

 

Scott at #5 with 4 starters back. O'Conner and Nikola are a tough inside combo.

Good analysis; although I might flip #s 4 and 5. If Campbell can find someone to handle the ball and get it inside, they could be really dangerous.
