Good analysis; although I might flip #s 4 and 5. If Campbell can find someone to handle the ball and get it inside, they could be really dangerous.

 

Clark County has two solid players in Stenzel and Hatton and then a bunch of question marks as was shown through inconsistent playing throughout the season. They in my opinion are no better than Mason County starting next year. Rogers and Williams will have to prove themselves and be able to put the ball in the hole to make their attack more balanced. Campbell County could be at that 2 spot as they are close. Mason County has more depth than any team across the region next year.

They may have some depth but is it quality depth? The only person that I see averaging over double figures next year would be Middleton. He will be the main focus next year as well, so he will get the opponents best defender. He will have to work for every shot he gets next year instead of this year getting some good looks from all the attention being focused on Miller and Setty. They are going to have to have some people step up big time which I'm sure will happen. Clark Co. is more proven at this point IMO, yet still have a lot of work to do.

Harrison County should be better next year.

I really like some of the 10th Region teams and what I have read on here so far this season it looks like this is the way it should start out next season as far as pre=season rankings.

 

1. Clark

2. Mason

3. Campbell Co

4. Scott

5. tie Montgomery and Brossart

 

Campbell Co will have the bangers and if they can replace Parks they will make some major noise, especially with Scott Code's emphasis on defense and team play. The other Code will have those young Stangs playing well by mid season as well and they could surprise some folks. Jacob Rieger is going to turn into one of the premier 10th Region players. Scott has gained a lot of confidence with this season's big wins and return a ton. Mason Co just reloads every year and has a great young class coming up but losing Miller will definitely take away from their dominance. GRC should be fun to track as they have a lot of young talent and Stenzel should be the next Div 1 prospect out of this Region.

Who do you think the preseason top 10 players will be for next year? Can anyone develop a list and then I will post mine!

I am back home after a wonderful tourney at Rupp. Good to see you Press. Next year the 10th should be very competitive with 5 or 6 teams capable of getting to Rupp. The Royals will be strong again and play same type of aggressive hardnosed defense and team offense. Middleton, Downing, Hamm will be the nucleus along with Neal Pawsat and the rest of the spots will be very competitive. the practices should be most intersting as the young players vie for playing time.

I see GRC, Montgomery, Campbell, Brossart and Mason having a real dogfight to see who gets to Rupp. Should be very intersting season and who comes out on top might be determined by which team develops the most during the summer.

We were Regional Champs last year, but I was smart enough to know that by losing the likes of Preston, Tistian, Woody, and Robell that we should not be ranked #1 starting out this year, just because we were the Regional Champs. Mason loses their key players this year too. Mason will have to really adjust to not having Miller to go to. But if you want to wear the bulleye...go for it...I like flying under the radar.

I agree, I don't like playing them in the tourney...almost beat my Cards twice.

I have said this entire year that I think Clark is the favorite for the next few years. My top five are as follows.
