Well we knew it wouldn't be easy since we were an early exit at the SEC tourney. Marquette is a very talented ball club with some of the best guards in College Basketball and if their on it could be a long day for UK, but I still think the achillies heel of Marquette is their outside shooting. Sometimes they fall in love with that shot and it won't fall, Marquette crashes the boards with their guards just like Crawford and Jasper do. I think their quickness will give Crawford problems when he wants to drive to the lane but if UK can play the grind you out type game that Marquette doesn't want to get into then we have a great shot of pulling the 6/11 upset in the first round. My prediction if the game is in the high 50s low 60s UK wins and if it gets to the highs 60, 70s or 80s we could be in for a long night. I'm just hoping the bad night Bradley had from the field against Georgia is out of his system because were going to need him. I can't wait I'm excited to see what Gillespie comes out with!

I'm not so sure that this is the great matchup for UK that everyone seems to think. Sure MU is lacking in the post as is UK, but the Wildcats also seem to have trouble holding onto the ball, They average 15.9 turnovers per game. MU is ranked #6 in NCAA with 9.6 steals per game. McNeil will give somebody fits, likely Crawford or Bradley.

I don't, I just get a kick out of reactions on here to wild and bold predictions :laugh: but I didn't get the mass reactions I was expecting. Yes, I am a UK fan though and wish they do well but I also realize that game #1 will be tough to win and Stanford will be a up hill climb to say the least.

Hayward will give UK fits. You have to focus on McNeal and James, and option 3 has had a very good year. I'm guessing Jasper and Stevenson split most of the minutes on him...
