They both still average close to the same amount of turnovers per game. Isn't a steal a turn over? I don't see it broke down anywhere where how the turnovers were committed by either team.

Here's my point. UK is very prone to turnovers without the steal being a large portion of their numbers. Opponents had 186 steals out of the 478 turnovers. If they are to win, they will have to protect the ball much better than they have to this point. If they do, they stand a good chance to win. If not.....

They do need to protect the ball I agree. I don't see Marq turning them over any more then usual. They keys to this game is half court offense the same as they have been playing, The Cats can not run with Marq. Joe and Bradley will have to have a big scoring night. This is a very winnable game for UK. I like their chances.

If it helps you to think that I made your point then OK. If they turned it over 20 times you might be right, and if they did Marq would still have to score off those turnovers to make any difference. None of the numbers that have been posted support the fact that they will turn the ball over 20 times.:D

How would you compare what you know of Marquette to the pressure you saw from Auburn???

To be honest I can't compare and know you have watched them more because of them playing in the Big East. I only saw them in 1 1/2 games and Lville killed them both times. I can read too that Auburn had 15 steals, Cats had 24 turnovers, but they did not convert them to points. UK did win that game. I am not disagreeing with you on what might happen. I am just saying this is a very winnable game for the Cats. They will have to cut down on their turnovers and make foul shots. Crawford and Bradley will have to hit their shots and the Cats can't let Marq get off to a big lead. On paper these two teams are pretty even, but on the floor may be a different story. That is why the game is played. I am picking the Cats to win in a close one.

Thanks for the advice, but I'll be taking the Cats. I think they will win straight up, so I'll definately take the 6 points.

I really hope that am wrong but I will say Marquette by 7. I just think that depth and Marguettes overall quickness will be the story.

 

A plus for the Cats will be their "toughness".

I hope that U.K. can get this game into a grind it out type, what some on here call "Ugly" game. I will take an "ugly win" over a pretty loss anytime .
