March 15, 200818 yr UK got cheated. They didn't get cheated. They sucked offensively and can't make FTs.
March 15, 200818 yr They're in. Do you just copy and paste that everytime someone questions UK's NCAA status? UK is in danger right now. They do not have any control of their future and they need teams that should win their conferences to win their tournaments. UK is skating on some very thin ice.

That's such a lame duck argument.....UK is 100 X's better and should've blown UGA out. They had at least 25 other things they could've done differently to win, and they didn't.
March 15, 200818 yr Meaning a Bubble team just got busted...:thumb: The VPI was confusing me. Yeah I just saw the end of the game.

March 15, 200818 yr You find me a place in the rulebook that says fouls that are normally fouls are not fouls if the player was trying to draw the foul and I'll say "you're right." "Bail outs" happen all the time. There is no provision in the rulebook regarding "bail outs." Just like there are judges that rule by the word of the book, I say a rule is a rule no matter if its 2 seconds into the game or 2 seconds left in the game regardless if it helps my team or hurts my team. I'm not asking you to say I'm right. I told you, the advantage argument was something the announcers talked about and I'm presenting a devil's advocate argument. I don't care whether you think I'm right about that. Like I said in the second part that you did not quote, if you feel that way all the time, I commend you for it, and I believe you to be a rarity. I absolutely believe that most people feel you practically have to mug them to call a foul that decides the game. Otherwise you'd never hear statements like "The ref tried to take over the game" or "Let the players make the plays" etc. All of those apply to fouls that are called that they don't think should be. A game called by the exact letter of the book would be an ugly thing. I think it'd just like holding in football. There's holding on every play. The ref does not always call it. That's a FACT. There are many violations on every single posession in basketball. The hand check is the most glaring example off the top of my head. There's body contact all the time. Basketball is supposed to be non-contact 100%.
