January 23, 20179 yr Ohio is one of the most populated areas for Eagles. You can see some down along 275 in Miamitown sitting in trees.

January 25, 20179 yr There's one, well one I've seen, just north of Falmouth in Pendleton County on the Main Licking River. See him just about everyday during deer season.
January 26, 20179 yr I've seen one in Stanford (last year) and several (maybe the same one several times) at Cave Run Lake. Only other times I have seen them was near the ocean in South Carolina.
January 27, 20179 yr I friend posted a blurry picture this week of one in Wayne County. There used to be several around Wolf Creek Dam on the western end of Lake Cumberland.
January 27, 20179 yr To see a Bald Eagle (outside of a zoo) is a bucket list item for me. One of my good friends has a family place on one of the lakes at Perry Park in Owen County. They've had a nest in one of their trees for the past few years. It's incredibly cool watching them snatch fish out of the lake!
