We have no proof whether this did or did not happen?

Once again....Until BCG says it's not true, I'll believe the kid. Why wouldn't I?

Who's bashing Sampson?????:sssh:

Not when it last happened to the FB program... :p

If you aren't with the team on a daily basis, how do you know it's not? Two way street...

I dont think I've said it didnt happen...

Cheating is against rules. Is there a rule against cussing at a kid and cutting him? I don't think it was a smart way for BCG to handle it, but I also think that comparing it to someone who committed 5 MAJOR NCAA violations is absurd.

Sometimes there is no reasoning with you guys....

Both cheating and cussing a player are wrong IMO. Sampson's case is obviously the more serious of the two. HOWEVER, that DOES NOT give a UK fan the right to tell me or anybody that I shouldn't be giving BCG crap because I'm not giving Sampson crap. BCG was wrong also, and is NOT exempt from being ridiculed...It was a classic example of bringing someone else into the equation (which UL fans are classically accused of doing) to make himself feel better about what was going on at UK.

BCG commenting further on this would only be a distraction. Believe what you want, don't matter to us.

Of course it doesn't, as long as you have another coach to deflect it on to. ;)

In this particular case, speaking to the media would be the best option. JMO.

I heard a former UK player say once that his coach would talk to the media all the time and come into the locker room laughing about the things he had told them that were not true.

Let me guess...He played for Pitino?

I no longer have an alcoholic prone to fits of rage walking my favorite teams sideline. Enjoy...

I'll give it one more shot.

I'm saying that nothing that any other coach does justifies what BCG may have done.

IMO it does give me that right... It is YOUR opinion that BCG was WRONG, it's not consensus. I don't need to feel better about this incident with Dusty Mills, I feel just fine about it. I'm sure there are UK fans on the opposite side of the argument and that is fine as well. Like GT said, BCG was making a point to the rest of his team... will they get the message?

You guys?

If cussing at a player was an NCAA Violation, I would be willing to bet there would be hundreds of coaches loses their jobs. Is it a good thing? No. But is it part of the game? Yes.

Is committing 5 MAJOR violations part of the game?

You can give Gillispie crap all you want, just don't compare him to a cheater like Sampson, unless he actually cheats. Not just cussing a player and hurting his feelings...

Trim the fat. The kid was at the end of the bench laughing during the Vandy game as well. His high school coach's comment is he was squirly. He was obviously a distraction to 7'3 project centers who Tubby left all around and therefore frustrates BCG. If the kid wanted back on, he would have taken Bradley's advice. Now he is trying to get some notoriety out of it and BCG isn't about to get in a shouting contest.
