February 20, 200818 yr If that is true I don't like that Rule...:creepy: I dont know if that is the exact rule but I know walk on's have zero room for error.
February 20, 200818 yr Care to share which player that was? When he told you that? When these incidents happened? It was one that definately wouldn't make anything up.Probably maybe ten years ago at a sales meeting I was at and he was the speaker. He said it happened all the time.
February 20, 200818 yr It was one that definately wouldn't make anything up.Probably maybe ten years ago at a sales meeting I was at and he was the speaker. He said it happened all the time. Forgive me if I jump to believe you...
February 20, 200818 yr So would you rather your coach cuss at his players of committ 5 major recruiting violations? That is so far from my point it's ridiculous...
February 20, 200818 yr Forgive me if I jump to believe you... What part are you saying I'm lying about?
February 20, 200818 yr I dont know if that is the exact rule but I know walk on's have zero room for error. I can understand that...But a walk on is part of the team...
February 20, 200818 yr What part are you saying I'm lying about? Whoa, I didn't say you were lying...But without specifics, I'll remain skeptical that this encounter happened.
February 20, 200818 yr And what a valuable contributor he is, too... I never said he was a good scholarship player. He just has a scholarship!
February 20, 200818 yr That is so far from my point it's ridiculous... Well what is your point? How does Sampson fit into that?
February 20, 200818 yr Well what is your point? How does Sampson fit into that? If somebody criticizes somebody for doing something wrong, that is 100% O.K. However, if another person criticizes someone that Person #1 supports, and Person #1 takes offense to it, that's being very hypocritical. Agree?
February 20, 200818 yr If somebody criticizes somebody for doing something wrong, that is 100% O.K. However, if another person criticizes someone that Person #1 supports, and Person #1 takes offense to it, that's being very hypocritical. Agree? Criticizing them for doing something wrong is fine. BCG shouldn't cuss at his players and Sampson shouldn't have broken 5 major rules. We agree on that I think. But talking about them like they are the same situation is completely unfair.
February 20, 200818 yr It is hypocritial though yes. I am not the one who was the hypocrite. And you aren't either.
February 20, 200818 yr Why didn't Williams get suspended?Wasn't He laughing also? Williams sat out the LSU game for sure.. Didn't make the trip... The wiggle room for a walkon has to be less than that of a scholarship player... If you can't keep the non-scholarship players in line, how do you expect to control your scholarship athletes? Mills was a sacrificial lamb.
