What time do you get up?

Featured Replies

Weekdays 5:00

Weekends usually around 7:00, sometimes 8:00.

During the tax season I often wake up around 3:00 am and go ahead and get up and take care of some work. Early evening naps are a real treat on those days.

I worked 3rd shift for 20+ years so I slept until I got up. The last year and a half I worked I got up at 3:30 a.m. Now that I'm retired, I'm usually up no later than 8:00 everyday.

I'd say it more like when your two footed toddler alarm clock says "it's time to get up Dad"......................:thumb:

He gets up at full speed too......

M-F: 6:30

Sat-Sun: 8:30 (or whenever my dog wakes me up)

6:30 most of the time, other days around 8 or 9 or whenever I need to be up if I have an early tee time :D. Can't sleep past 10 though thats impossible even if I go to sleep at 4 in the morning.

During the week I'm up around 8:45

On the Weekends, i'm usually not up til 12:30 or 1

Ahhhhhhh, the good old days...

Ditto my friend. I usually wake up at 4 am without an alarm clock, but sometimes like this morning its closer to 3:30. On a rare occasion, I'll sleep a little after 4, but its very rare. Sad thing is, I do the same thing on the weekends even after a late night (afternoon naps do come in very handy though when that happens:thumb:. I've been known when we are hosting post game parties, to quietly slip away and hit the rack. Depending on who is at the house, I'll try to hide when I go to sleep so they can't find me to wake me up). Even when I want to sleep late, I wake up. I almost never get into a deep enough sleep to have dreams.

I'm guilty too. I've seen you online at 4:30am on way too many occasions. :thumb:

I actually get up earlier now that I'm retired . Then it was 4:45am because I worked in Carrollton for a long time and for a few years had the responsibility of driving a 15 passenger company van loaded with co-workers to the job every morning , Now I get up at 4:00 am take a shower put on a pot of tea for me and my wife and watch TV while waiting to take her to work at the IRS . Come home and clean the house or go to morning Mass and get ready for the rest of the day . On weekends I usually sleep in till 6:00 am. especially Sundays when we go to early Mass and then go to FT. Thomas Frischs for the breakfast bar . Love the grits !!!

Off to Dow Corning I assume?

Isn't it peaceful at that hour of the day?:thumb:

Usually I'm up by 5:45. When I open my eyes I'm up and I never have been able to fall back asleep

You assume correctly.

6:30 every day of the week...

Today...just now. But I'm sick so what!
