I look at the Draw and I think if Pville or SV comes out of the 15th then either one of them could beat whoever comes out of the 7th. I know that sounds crazy but I especially think and you heard it hear that if Paintsville makes it out of the 15th they will beat any team out of the 7th.

Looks like Hazard/Jbs could come out of the 14th and make some noise at rupp. They could either one make it to Saturday morning with the show down with Elliott/Rose Hill or Mason. Should be a great saturday morning game. Lot of work to do before that though!

 

I could see Paintsville/Bryan Station and Hazard/Mason in the saturday morning session.

In the 2nd region i'd say UH, Madisonville, and Henderson are probably the favorites... Only problem is we have to take on the dreaded 11th region first. BRING IT ON!!

Since the Lofton era has ended Mason County has only made it to Rupp one out of three years. Their record at Rupp is 1-1. So there is a chance they may not make it. But yes, if they do they have a pretty easy road in the bottom bracket.

According to the BGP rankings released on 1/30/08 16 of the top 18 teams are in the top bracket.

IMO, who ever comes out of the 9th (Holmes/CovCath) has a good shot at making it to the semi's.

It sure does! This year I think regions 14, 15, 16 have some better teams than they have had in previous years though.

Your looking at the 7th and the 11th just to get to Saturday night.

Terrible draw for the 16th. I was wanting to see Elliott (assuming they make it) play their way to saturday but having to go against Mason County (more than likely) in the first round will be a tough test for the Lions.
