Sweet 16 Draw

You do have to admit they have an awfully easy path.

I thought they might have to play Elliott Co. in the first round. Isn't that going to be a tough game?

That would be the toughest game...The semifinal game could be a team from the 12th or 14th...That's very easy on Saturday morning.:thumb:

Mason Co. shouldn't have any trouble defeating Elliott Co. Looks like they should roll to the finals.:thumb:

 Home court advantage is not going to win a ball game for you. You actually have to play the game. Montgomery County better not rely on a home court advantage. On a good night Mason County can play circles around them. It does not matter where they play. They beat some really outstanding teams in Hawaii and they had never played ball in that gym before. I say they will come to play where ever the ballgames are played. And by the way I do not live in Mason county. I like the 10th regions draw.:dancingpa

If Holmes does win the 9th, then IMO: they have an excellent shot to get to the semi's against the 11th region champion again. From there, anything can happen.

If someone other than Holmes wins the 9th, the 9th is one & done.

I agree completely! This year's Holmes team is of a different culture (defense first). Defense will get you deep into March and these guys play really good lockdown defense this year.:thumb:

I like Holmes' chances if they make it.

Don't it seem that the 9th region is always in the tough bracket, talking about the unluck of the draw.

I'd love to see the Bulldogs get Scott County in a rematch of last year's semis. Its payback time!

You and me both :fight: different outcome this time. :dancingpa

I would ask any of the top 25 teams that have lost to Elliott County this question.

Nice logic....if someone beats Holmes, and proves they are better than them, they are one and done, yet if Holmes wins they have a excellent shot at the semi's. Makes perfect sense to me.

The logic is that Holmes is the only 9th region team that has the athletes, bench and style of play to be successful in the state tournament.
