Sweet 16 Draw

Looks like a lot of the "stronger regions" are in the top half.

Let's just say I wish we had that bracket last year.:ylsuper:

No disrespect to any of the regions in the lower bracket, Mason Co is well aware of Region 4 in recent history. BUT let the top half of the bracket beat each other up for all I care.

Mason & Elliott play on Feb 12th & then could meet again in first round of Sweet 16

An advantage of coming out of the upper half - more rest.

I think Rose Hill, East Carter, Bath Co might have something to say about that. :thumb:

Goodness knows I wouldn't mind Elliott being sent home early.

Yep, it is nice to get that day off, BUT the Royals have played all those darn tournaments and back to back games. They should be more than prepared if they are fortunate enough to get to Rupp and win a game or two.

The bottom is a joke.

Both the 11th and the 10th have dangerous first round opponents possibly. The 11th champ would likely get UHA and Scotty Hopson while the 10th champ would likely face either Elliott County or Rose Hill.

What a opener with the 2nd vs 11th. Wow, could be Hopson vs Mack or Novesell or maybe even Mark Starns returns to Rupp!

Just as Montgomery County could in the 10th. I listened to the last meeting of Montgomery & Mason & it sure seemed as though Montgomery made a run at it. Now that its played at Montgomery you never know.

10th - Mason County, Montgomery County, Clark County; I see Harrison County as a possible darkhorse.

16th - Elliott County, Rose Hill, East Carter and Bath County seem to be the early favorites.

I think with everything the seniors went through last year with Clark Co, they won't let that happen again. With that said, we know anything can happen. Mason Co could have played better in that game and I'm sure Montgomery thinks they could have played better.

Shall be interesting to see how things play out on February 5th.

The bottom is a joke.

Then do not go to those sessions

Who is in the 5th???

Adair County made it last year and looks to be the favorite again this year. Can't forget North Hardin and the likes.

Being from the mountain area, I really like the chances of a mountain school to make it to Saturday morning. 13th drew the 14th to play the winner of the 8th and 12th. It has been a long time since a 14th Region team has made a good run in the Sweet 16. Hazard and JBS are capable of beating someone.
