Highlands Banquet

Replace the Hoptown game with T. I'm sure that will be dispelled in a few.
Let's hope it isn't dispelled. I think it would only make both teams stronger.

I did hear that yesterday at the Banquet. But then again after nine hours I thought I heard that this was the greatest team ever. Must have been hallucinating because I've never heard that used before especially with this year.:D Seriously though I did hear that. Replace the Hoptown game with T. I'm sure that will be dispelled in a few.

If it was to happen, it wouldn't happen next year. We have a contract in place with Hoptown which I'm sure Highlands intends to honor. Plus, we already have Colerain on the schedule for next year and no openings. IF it was to happen, it probably wouldn't happen until the 09 and 10 seasons. Personally, I think it would be great.

...and the "perfect" line of the evening came from "Mr. Perfect" Clay Cecil..."Coach Mueller likes to tell jokes. I laughed really hard at them in the first grade."

The perfect line of the evening... Thanks for coming and DRIVE HOME SAFELY!

The staff should get Professional Development credit for something that long.

The students should get 3 credit hours!

I got there at noon and left at 9:30. Yes, it is a very long day but it's a great way to send the senior's out and to give accolades to the team for a very fine season. It's a very small amount of time compared to what these kid's go thru for 4 yrs. at Highland's. Congrat's again for a great year.
I agree.. The kids deserve it. Southwestern's banquet usually runs 4 or 5 hours and if they were to win a championship it would probably go for a couple of days.

I would REALLY APPRECIATE it if someone could post a list of the "awards" given out, and who earned them!!! If the list is endless, then perhaps a posting of the major awards.

Someone told me last night that there was roughly 3 hours of video shown.

Holy Cow.........you sure you did not leave anybody out? Congratulations on a great season. Let's get this thing with the Rocks going.:thumb:

Man that's a whole lot of awards. Congrats to all of these young men on such a fine season. Just one question, what the heck do you do with all of them awards when you don't have 23 seniors.

I don't know but if all 46 freshman keep playing, when they are seniors this will be a Sat/Sun Extravaganza!!!!

Don't worry about it, the number has already been scaled down some.

Yes, both schools have full schedules this coming season. I'm talking about 2009-10. Trinity's contracts with 6 non-district foes are up for negotiation (PLD, Lafayette, Cincy St. X, Butler, Bowling Green, & PRP) after 2008.

Encourage it as much as you can. The all-time record between HHS and THS stands at 1-1.
