Jim Tressell should keep his job he is 31-4 in his last 35 games. 4 losses all to BCS teams and 3 of them won the national championship. (Texas,Florida, LSU,)! January 23, 200818 yr They set up the out of bounds pass across the baseline several times, and while it made inbounding the ball tough a few times early, it paid off late. That one jumped out at me going over my notes... I agree with this one. UT prides itself on forcing 5 second calls and getting steals on inbounds plays. The baseline pass and having the inbounder back up on a "spot up" inbound play really helped. UT forced one UK timeout and only forced the Cats into 12 turnovers for the game (compared to 16 assists). BCG can coach and he'll do well here. By the way did you catch the UT player swipe the ball out of Jasper's hands after one of the baseline passes on one of the last couple of plays. Shouldn't that have been a technical foul? Jasper and Patterson were all guts tonight. Nice win Cats!
January 23, 200818 yr This might not matter this year but it just shows you what this team is capable of and gives you a lot to look forward to next year. I a little worried about next year, because our two seniors are actually playing good and now we will be losing them next year. We will have to rely on two freshman to pick up where they left off, which may not be a good thing. As we seen this year we don't have much offense besides Crawford and Bradley. So those guys are going to HAVE to come in and do really well next year for us to do good. However it is really good to see this team starting to really understand it now, and hopefully somehow we can pull something together to make a run at the tournament still. It would actually make it the most exciting Selection Sunday in my life if we even get the chance to maybe make it, because I never have remembered watching it where they haven't made it.

All I've ever said about him is that I don't like him as the primary ball handler... I still don't, probably never will... You've gotta do what you've gotta do, though. I would personally like to see what he can do in a 2 guard role, but we rarely get to see that.

Great job by all tonight. For this team to beat a #3 ranked team in the nation and the SEC leader just may be the push they need. This game was one that I was looking for. Yes I am excited . Stevenson played absolutley great, as for Bradley -- he is one guy that I can come out of my chair and curse one minute for some of his idiot decisions/non decisions on the floor while handling the ball. Then in the next breath come out of my chair praising him. Bradley's lock down "D" on Lofton was great and went a looooooong way to getting this win. Patrick Pattterson is going to be so good it is scary. Only a freshman and look at what is to come in the future from him. That kid (Patterson) works hard everytime down the floor to get into position for the ball to come to him. He is a warrior! Again, needless to say an absolute great game by all tonight and we got to see Billy Gillispie outcoach the Tanning Bed guy from Rotten Flop :thumb:. Pearl can always go back to his other job............waving/flagging traffic around the constucton sites on I75, he even wore his Highway worker Uniform (Orange coat) to the game tonight. I have always felt sorry for Bradley because of the unhappy fans that bash him for his "lack of talent". I think he has a lot of talent, and he plays with a lot of heart and determination, which can be better than talent sometimes.
