How about the intentional foul on Jasper. That may have been the worst call I have seen this year!

 

I should have prefaced my comment with the game had some bad calls both ways. I just happened to notice the hilarity in the one I mentioned considering the Ref literally instinctively pointed at PP to call the foul and upon realizing who he was gonna whistle the foul on seemed to quickly turn away to look for someone else. It was humorous. Jasper's intentional wasn't great however in watching it at the game, he made a poor decision to wrap his arm around the player even if he did it only to protect the player. I also thought he made a visible attempt for the ball.

I was lucky enough to be there and came away impressed by 4 things that I haven't always noticed on TV..

1. Patrick is the hardest working kid inside that I can remember seeing, he works his tail off every possession trying to get position.

2. Ra Smooth can play great 1 on 1 D when he has to. Ramel played inside Lofton's shorts the entire second half and Lofton was actually looking frustrated late in the game because h could not get the ball in any kind of position.

3. Perry may have finally learned to COMPETE, I base this on his numbers. Primarily on his minutes played, I think somewhere around 37 minutes. We all know if he didn't COMPETE he would have never got that many minutes.

4. The most appreciative RUPP crowd I have ever seen. This crowd would get out of their seats when the game got cut to 6 or 8 points and just went nuts when the game got tied and every time we scored. MAY BE THE BEST CROWD I have ever seen in RUPP.

It's a toss up between that and Ramel getting clubbed.

 

Haha, yeah. That came out of no where! Still can't believe that was a no-call.

I thought Derrick Jasper played awesome. A very courageous effort. I love big guards who can rebound and take care of the ball. And, oh yeah, Jasper has can shoot it a little, too!

Wow... we're still talking about this game! haha.
