LRCW
I see no reason that can't go 162-0.
AverageJoesGym
I just don't see the Reds being a very good team at all again next season. I'll say 76-86 and 3rd in the Central.
spindoc
Injuries, or lack thereof, will determine their finish, IMO. At best, 85 wins. At worst, 65.

I hate that too. Getting you're hopes up every single season, and then all you get is 70 wins.

Actually, I'm a Red Sox fan--my team got a few more wins than that. I do keep up with the Reds though since they are the closest team to go watch. HOMELESS CAMEL
There are many reasons why the Reds haven't had a winning season in almost 10 years and haven't been to the playoffs in 15 years. I think they are a 70-80 win team going into the season. If the pitching holds up, they avoid injuries and the bullpen is even slightly better than last year, they could creep up to 80-85. A few guys have career years and the bullpen is 100 percent better than last year, they could easily win the Central and go to the playoffs. Goodness knows I have nothing better to do and win or lose, I will be watching them everyday.

saint4
So 80 victories wins the Central? Yes, sadly. The Cubs don't have the pitching, the Cardinals aren't that good anymore, the Pirates are the Pirates, the Brewers will give the Reds the best competition with all the young talent with a year of experience under their belts, and the Astros are on the way down fast. They will end up signing Dunn to a 5 year deal worth 80 million or something. So there goes any wiggle room they might have after Griffey is gone.

buzzer beater
I am... too inconsistant How? In his last 3 seasons he has had 40 home runs in all of them. I know his average isn't the best, but come on. I would love to have a guy who can give me the numbers he has put up..
