What exactly is he upset about?

 

The fact that there were multiple cases this season of he and CP bucking heads would probably be a good place to start.

I just wish he would shut up and play like a team player! The Bengals need him bad and stirring the pot isn't helping any of the problems they have. They need a lot of help on the other side of the ball and the oline. Losing him will hurt the Bengals on the field but his crybaby act is getting old. You want everybody to look at you when things are going good but they are ganging up on you when times are tough. You can't have it both ways. Either you want the attention or you don't!

I think Chad will mend fences and be back next summer. Besides the Bengals will not let him go...

What's the dollar figure on dealing him? Someone is going to take a big hit aren't they? He got a lot up front I believe.

I dont think anybody will give up a 1st round pick for him either, possibly a 2nd rounder.

He is a talented player. He is a great player. He is a key member of the Bengals. But I am tired of his pity-poor Chad and look at me as long as you look at me with loving thoughts routine.

Yes I am! He is pretty much right on with what he said. It is ridiculous for people like you, and all of the other people to act like he is the problem for this team and the reason why they are losing. If he is problem at all, he is probably the least of the reasons why the bengals sucked this year. I mean that is just stupid for people to think that, and I see why he was upset about that. I mean he even talked about just because of what he does is a little bit different than most people do it, doesn't mean he is a completely selfish player and only cares about himself and not winning, and the reason why this team lost so much. I mean it really is funny when people say stuff like that. I mean if teammates actually think that is the reason why they lost as well, then this team HAS ALOT BIGGER PROBLEMS than I ever thought.

 

 

Look, I'm fine that you agree w/ Chad. I think you're wrong but I never say its stupid to think like you do. Does that help your argument to try to put people down?

The ironic part of this is that time after time after time on here, it was put forth that Chad had the support of his teammates and they loved Chad.

 

But here he is on Mike and Mike complaining that those with the team didn't support him.

 

Or at least support him like HE felt they should.

 

So the view of Chad stands in contrast with the view of Chad's supporters on here.

 

 

What's great is they don't even understand what you're saying. All year long all we heard was "well nobody on the team has said anything bad about him, and they all support him." Now we're hearing that nobody had his back when people were talking bad about him, but his supporters just ignore that fact.

I think he's going to demand a trade and likely get it. I'd really hate to see him leave, but he's an emotional guy and it's pretty clear where that emotion is leaning right now. Maybe some time away will cool him down...

I'd hate to see him leave, he's just into his prime years but something has to change within that lockeroom.

I'm not saying Chad has been a saint, but he was right, he tooks some shots this year from people when it wasn't his fault. The passing game put up record numbers. He went out and did what he was supposed to do (for the most part).

He's got a few months to cool down and think it over. It would have to be an overwhelming trade to get Chad out of Cincinnati. Do you really think Mike Brown is going to eat all the bonus money that he paid Chad for a 2nd round pick? I don't think so. Oakland only got a 4th round pick from New England fro Randy Moss. Chad is over 30. How much trade value does he have?
