I voted for Bush twice (the first time I ever voted for a Republican for President by the way, dating back to 1978) and knowing what I know now I would vote the same way again.

1978 was when I was 18 and first eligible to vote, so that would mean that every presidential election that has occurred since then.

Two votes for Bush and I would not hesitate to do the same again if I could roll back time. Al Gore has only reenforced by opinion of him since his defeat and I still believe that John Kerry ranks among the laziest and least accomplished US Senators of all time.

I am a Republican and I did not vote for Bush either time. I knew the Dems werent much better but really felt like we needed a change of direction.

 

2008 might be the most important election in history. We are in a lot of trouble.

People say what they will about the war and what not, that doesn't much disappoint me. In my eye's noone really ever wins or loses, I'd say we were by far the bigger winner, however we carry higher standards, don't know how many Iraqi's expected them to win.....

 

But as for my disappointment, social security is still in the shambles and I really don't see it getting any better.
