You're taking it too personal. It has NOTHING to do with the teachers. It's the system. You can't expect to put in 5 man-to-man offenses, 5 2-3 zone offenses, 5 1-3-1 offenses, 2 man press breaks, 2 zone press breaks, 5 man out of bounds plays, 5 zone out of bounds plays and all of your defenses in if you get 30 minutes of practice time twice a week... Better? Nope.

The politicians continually are changing what they want teachers to be doing and we spend vast and important time learning what the politicians think should be going on in schools instead of preparing for our classrooms. Then when I say that a lot of public school kids aren't as prepared for college because of this, you say... Nope. Doesn't make sense...

I think kids who took public high school serious are prepared for college. The ones who aren't, blew off HS as something that was social time.

I think the politicians and the constant changing of the political wind hinders a school from devoting their full effort to doing the best they can. I think that is also different from saying that public school students are not prepared for college.
