Noel Devine

Devine is 5'8 170...I don't believe BS was 210 when he arrived at OSU.

I was basing my math on my opinion that there's no way he's 170; 160 maybe. As for Sanders weight when he arrived at college, I don't know. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. I am curious to see how much he weighed.

I couldn't find anything either. But your probably right, I don't think he's quite 170 yet. That being said, I believe if he stays on the right path, and works his tale off in the weight room, he could someday be playing on Sundays.

At worst he'll play on Sunday's as a return specialist...

Read somewhere that Barry Sanders was 155 lbs when he signed with OKL State. Ithink it was on a real sports thing on ESPN.

Noel Devine for Heisman 2008-09!!! Slaton had better go to the NFL, cause WVU found a better runningback who thrives on the spotlight instead of hiding from it. I have thought he should get more carries all year, and he is very comparable to Barry Sanders because of his slit second cuts, and all seeing field vision. ON a side note, Owen Schmitt is possibly the baddest man to ever wear a helmet. If given the choice i dont think he would even wear pads. Great moment we he scored the slowest 60 yard touchdown in bowl history.

Something about his stride makes me think of Herschel Walker.

Slaton does not like getting hit in the mouth............

Did he finish a game against a good opponent?

I used to say he was "too small" but Maurice Jones Drew shut me up on that one. Although Jones Drew is around 210 amazingly. Devine will have to add some weight.

He's only a true freshman isn't he??

Yes sir. PLENTY of time. Kid has major upside as we all know. My comments were in regards to the next level or NFL play.

They say that he is the next Reggie Bush, but I think that he can carry his game over to the NFL better than Reggie has. He is a special special talent.

I don't think he is on Reggie's receiving level. Speed level yes. But again so much room to grow.
