Strongest returning players for 2008

I know no one will admit this, but I bet a few numbers are streatching it.

Or maybe they did lift the amount of weight, however did they use straps for power cleans or dead lift? Or perhaps they did not go past parallel on squats.

Some I'm sure are true but I do believe some are streatching it a bit.

Today's the first offical day for winter weight's at Highland's. Looking forward to the boy coming home and listening how Dale tried to kill them during there running drill's. They usually have a lot of garbage cans scattered throughout the gym. I hope they have a good turnout.

I dont quite see the point of making kids run til they puke in January. They cant be that out of shape or maybe it was just too much Holiday treats. :D

I don't think the "point" is to make them puke. BUT there are some that will. The ones that are NOT in shape or clebrated the holidays to heartily. The cans are probably to assist the janitorial staff!

Nothing wrong with making a young man clean up his mess. :thumb:

Lou. St X is 5 days a week for 6 weeks starting tommorrow. My son can't wait.:D They split the JV's and Varsity up and have alternate work out schedules each week. Basically when the JV's are lifting the varsity is running and jumping rope etc...and vice versa. Week A you'll lift 3 times and run twice, and Week B you'll run 3 times and lift twice. But, it's not mandatory--especially for those who don't care about seeing the field during a game.

What about Danville? Any studs returning? Heard that they had some really strong kids in their weightlifting class.......

For Grant County, I would say Cory Beach and KJ Little. I think Cory Beach already benches over 300 and KJ will in the next couple weeks.

From Danville Trey Grey throgh for over 2000 yards he has a great arm, Derrick Henderson recieved over 500 yards he has good hands he should put big numbers An running back Antwoine Simon he had 1048 all purpose yards last season he should also put up big numbers he should be the go to guy for running the ball.

How big are theses two?

Those 3 that you named for Danville could be good, but I wouldn't consider any of them SOLID. If we're talking studs that can make a big difference, I will go with those 2 sophomore linebackers, Lynn and Raines.
