Ken Broo of Channel 5 in Cincinnati said it would be announced on Wednesday.

Looks like Rodenberg has a little Petrino, or alot of Larry Brown in him! Coach or mercanary for hire?

Hard to turn down a job like Moe! He's jumped a lot but that's a huge job.

Great coach from an Xs and Os standpoint. I'm glad my son didn't play for him.

I'm not from around there but hasn't there always been speculation that he would end up at one of the big Cincy schools even when he came to Cov Cath?

This guy moves around more than Alex Legion!!!

I called this one a few weeks ago in another thread.

For what it is worth, Rodenberg was at McNick for a long time, my guess is he'll be at Moe for a a while also.

Coach R is a great offensive football coach but it will be interesting to see how his defenses perform against the best competition in the world if he gets the Moeller job.

My guess... as long as he is able to win. That is not an easy task in the GCL! I see St. X, Colerain getting stronger and stronger every year. The two powerhouses are on a roll. Big Moe has a long road ahead to harness that momentum..

You are probably right about him being a good or even great offensive coach, but then again, last year at CovCath he had one of the best compilations of talent across the board that I've ever seen at CovCath, which may have had a whole lot to do with their championship. Don't get me wrong, he was smart enough to put the right people in the right places, but when you have a lot of talented, dedicated, team oriented players, it sure makes you look smart in your playing calling. And your point about defense is a good one. I was much more impressed with CovCath's D last year than their O. Maybe he'll "relate" to the Moe fans and supporters better than he did at CovCath. If not, who knows, he may not be at Moe very long. I doubt the Moe supporters are going to tolerate non GCL championship teams very long. They want to return to glory and they want to do it now. R. may very well be experiencing the old maxim: be careful of what you ask for, you just may get it. I wish him and Moe all the best.

I agree. It was no secret that he always wanted a head coach position in the GCL. It was interesting he went to RB from CCH instead of staying at CCH until a GCL spot opened for him. Good luck coach and thanks for adding a title at Cov Cath.

I, for one, think Rodenberg will do well at Moe. He plays an exciting offense and, if his d-coordinator follows him to Moeller, will have a solid defense as well.

The man runs a well organized football team.

Yes.
