December 17, 200718 yr I think the media is overhyping this play! Philly had the same chance to fumble a snap as Dallas did scoring a TD and a point conversion and then getting on side kick and scoring again. How many times have you seen someone fumble when they are kneeling the ball?
December 17, 200718 yr I thought it was awesome since I was going up against Westbrook. Good job Brian!!!!!!
December 17, 200718 yr Westbrook didn't come up with the idea. In the huddle, big John Runyan told him that if he gets to the one on this drive that he needs to take a knee. When a 6'9 300+ mountain of a man tells you to take a knee....

Like LABS, I'd be ticked when I should be admiring...
December 17, 200718 yr I have him, but I have a bye this round. I hope he makes up for it in the last two weeks... :thumb: Good luck...I hate FFL's that end in the last week of the regular season, too many variables.
December 17, 200718 yr I have Westbrook and I'm down four going into Monday night. I have Gould the kicker and they have Berrian at wide reciever.
December 17, 200718 yr Remember Herm Edwards picking up that fumble on the other team kneeling out the clock, anything can happen once. Bottom line neither was probably going to happen. Actually the Giants weren't kneeling on the ball that play, they handed it off to their FB to run the ball and the handoff was poor. It bounced off the astro turf just right for Edwards to pick it up and take it in.

December 17, 200718 yr I saw that, unbelievable. I had Brady, Terrell Owens, and Addai on my team, was the number 2 seed, and lost in the playoffs because of freaking Tom Brady. I had a choice to make, start Brady or Romo, looks like it didn't matter, they both did terrible.
December 18, 200718 yr I know fantasy owners are upset today, but in all seriousness, how many guys in the NFL 1) Would have been smart enough to go down at the 1 yard line; 2) Would take one for the team instead of building his statistics. As a Westbrook fan, this made me like him even more. In a day and age where it is all about "I" and "Me", Westbrook gave me a little hope that there are still players about the team concept. Too bad the Bengals don't have many players like this.
December 18, 200718 yr When we get to the bottom of this story, we'll probably find out that he was going against someone in his fantasy league that had Westbrook on their team, LOL.
December 18, 200718 yr Without checking Vegas, I would have to believe that the Cowboys were favored, so I don't think the TD would have had any impact of whether they covered or not. As a Westbrook owner it was frustrating, but I still have Gould tomarrow night. Maybe he pull a Bironas and I will still have a chance. Maybe he had money on the Cowboys to cover???
December 18, 200718 yr On Mike and Mike this morning mention that Westbrook said John Runyan told him in the huddle to go down if he were about to score.
December 18, 200718 yr ^ that's fine and dandy but as one of the best players in the NFL...he still did it.
