I do..in my fantast football semis...I see him run into the clear, from about 20yards out for the clinching score and raise my fist only to see him stop and fall at the one yard line.

I have a 28 point lead...and the TD would have tallied 6 more.

My opponent has Adrian Peterson tomorrow night who went nuts on the Bears once for a tune of 40 fantasy points...

Stars are aligning...#1 seed lost in other semis...he had Brady, Moss and Addai.

If I lose by 6 or less tomorrow...ugh!

Agree. You cant blame the guy. And as far as the point spread goes, theres not way, because the Eagles obviously would have covered. Sounded like a smart play!

Weather ruined my fantasy season today. I was in the seminfinals of the playoffs against a team that I should have easily beat, but the weather in New England prevented Moss and Brady from doing anything, so now I'm playing for 3rd.

He lost me a lot.....and I mean a lot of money.........as in new Rhino $$$............................

It was actually one of the smartest plays I've ever seen. On the one hand they would have gone up 11, but Dallas would have had a chance. A remote chance, but a chance nonetheless. By going down at the 1, he assured the game was over. They took a knee three straight times, ballgame.

Without checking Vegas, I would have to believe that the Cowboys were favored, so I don't think the TD would have had any impact of whether they covered or not.

 

As a Westbrook owner it was frustrating, but I still have Gould tomarrow night. Maybe he pull a Bironas and I will still have a chance.

I got nervous...but agree that it was the best thing to do....I ended up winning anyway....champiohip bound....very interesting.

:thumb: I agree. I would've been upset to have him on my team but it was a very heads up play by him.

I know fantasy owners are upset today, but in all seriousness, how many guys in the NFL 1) Would have been smart enough to go down at the 1 yard line; 2) Would take one for the team instead of building his statistics. As a Westbrook fan, this made me like him even more. In a day and age where it is all about "I" and "Me", Westbrook gave me a little hope that there are still players about the team concept.

I think the media is overhyping this play! Philly had the same chance to fumble a snap as Dallas did scoring a TD and a point conversion and then getting on side kick and scoring again.

I really respect Westbrook more now as a player. Not many guys would sacrifice a TD for a sure WIN. Remember the Cowboys scoring a TD, recovering an onside kick & kicking a FG to beat the Bills. Westbrook must have too!!

Remember Herm Edwards picking up that fumble on the other team kneeling out the clock, anything can happen once. Bottom line neither was probably going to happen.
