December 17, 200718 yr I have actually heard RR and Beilein did not have a great working relationship and Beilein actually did not speak highly of him when approached by the powers that be. Also heard the OC and Tony Gibson the DB coach was coming.

Pretty solid class on par with what he's had there in the past. 3 star WR DJ Woods has already re-opened his recruitment...

December 17, 200718 yr For those of you that think Rodriguez was a bad hire....you are likely a Buckeye fan, and now should be worried as the track meets between Illinois and Michigan are going to make the whol conference have to start SPEEDING up. I am a Buckeye fan and I "Don't" think that it was a bad hire for the school up north and am not worried. I really didn't care who they hire but thanks for telling me/Buckeye fans what we should be worried about. I would think that your team has enough worries to keep you busy:D. Ohio State and Michigan are both in pretty good shape. As for the speed - you are probably right but I feel confident that Tressel will adjust.

Thad and Vest attended a few of his high school games together.

I think you make a good point, however, I don't think that this will hurt him as I believe that many more kids would consider Michigan than would West Virginia. I think that he will find recruiting easier in Ann Arbor.
