One of my favorite UK players in any sport. He truly represents everything that is good in college athletics. He has had a stellar career and has remained humble throughout.

Nothing earth shattering in the speech, but it exemplifies what a well-rounded individual he is and is truly an ambassador to the University of Kentucky.

Tamme is the man. :ylsuper:

Just listening to that gave me chills!!!!!!!!

We're going to miss him when he's gone! :thumb:

I am so glad that this was posted. Jacob Tamme is all class in every sense of the word. He is by far my favorite U.K. player, quite possibly my all time favorite Wildcat football player!

If I had a son and he turned out like Tamme then I would be very proud.

Great speech!

You only have to look as far as Jacob's dad to understand why Jacob is the way he is. His dad is a great guy whom I've gotten to know over the past few years.

Great speech!

I've got one(and am extremely proud) and he'll tell you he looks up to Tamme (or should I say "the future governor).

Somewhere, Billy Jack Haskins is crying.

Great speech given by the young man.

That was very cool! :ylsuper:

What is equally impressive is how he interacts with fans. I had the privilege of speaking with him briefly after a game and then watched him interacting with other fans, especially kids who wanted pictures and autographs. The staff basically had to pull him away to get him on the bus. He was literally one of the last players/coaches to get on the bus to leave the stadium.

Got to love the guy for his heart and passion he puts into everything he does. I had the privilge of doing a group project with him a couple years ago in a class and he's a class act. One of my favorite plays was against UT even though we lost, when he ripped what looked to be a sure INT away from the Tennessee player and got the reception. Good luck in the NFL my friend!

:thumb:Tamne is one that kids should look up to, an excellent role model. As for the Govenor, he had got my vote right now. (LOL)
