Is there any doubt as to why folks out in the country feel selected residents of the 3 county northern tip sometimes come off as acting a little bit "elitist" ??

Yea well those fellas from WAY down in West KY sent em packing

 

 

IMO out of all 4 teams I saw today, Ft Campbells players appeared to be a lot stronger and muscle bound.

We here in N. Ky. used to feel the same way about Louisville area. However you are correct, FC deserves a huge amount of congrats on a well deserved state championship. And Oneijoe, most of N. Ky. fans are not elitest. Like me they enjoy great high school football no matter where the teams come from.

Great job Falcons! You might have been an underdog with everyone else, but those of us who are Falcon fans knew you could do it.

What happened to #28 of Ft. Campbell in the 2nd half, he was running at will in the first half, very impressive but he was missing in most of the 2nd half, and #28 was only a Soph!

 

Not sure, but he might have aggravated his knee which was injured earlier this year or the coaching staff might have just wanted to mix it up since they knew NCC would focus on Turner after halftime. Either way the depth at RB and the way this group of young men has played as a team this year is a large part of their success. It seems like a different player steps up and has a big game each week and yes #28 is only a Sophomore.

What a great feeling. 28 years is a long time to wait for this title again, but man is it sweet to accomplish the goal..."For the Ring!" Go get your rings guys, you deserve them!!!

I'd be interested to know #28's 40 time, he looked deceptively fast, like he didnt look like he was burning it up but he was running by everyone and over people too!

I'm very proud of and for the Falcons!! Being retired Air Force myself, it's super to see a DOD school bring home their fourth state title! My nephew played for the 3A Chasmpion Franklin-Simpson Wildcats in 1979, and Ft Campbell handed them their heads that year, Big Blue's only loss of the year. I remember all too well those great Ft Campbell teams of the mid-to-late 1970s!

 

That's got to be great news for our servicemen, particularly Army and those in the 101st, in Iraq. Mrs PH and I are twistin' for you all and for western Kentucky as well...!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

 

Congratulations to NCC for another fine season. They, along with Trinity and BGHS, were the only teams to make it to the finals the last three years in a row. Nice ride!
