Falcons get their fourth state title and first since 1979

There is something that is just so right about this one. I hope this gives those folks over there in the Middle East a really nice Christmas present. How about that Lt. Col. Croft!!!!

 

NCC just could not establish any sort of run. Ft. Campbell's linebackers were really excellent.

I was surprised at the mistakes NCC made in the second half. For a team making their third straight title appearace, NCC had several illegal procedure penalties at bad times plus the red zone fumble late.

Congratulations to the Falcons from all of your supporters over here in Iraq. We are proud of all you have done this year.

We might have witnessed Kentucky high school football's all-time winningest coach in his final game today.

 

Newport Central Catholic coach Bob Schneider said after his team's 21-7 loss to Fort Campbell in the Class 2A state title game that he's leaning toward retirement.
