Not a Reds fan, but I agree Gonzalez is the way to go.

This isnt meant to be selfish, but I hope his son has found good health. I thought it was hard from get go for him and rightfully so. If he can play everday then I would agree he'd be the one.

You have to go with Gonzo. Keppinger can hit, but no one is giving him accolades for his glove work.

You've gotta go with Gonzales. For one thing, even with all the distractions, he had one of his better hitting seasons in his career. Yes, he had more errors than we're used to seeing from him, but you can't discount the fact that he gets to many more balls than any Reds SS we've seen in several years. With an unfettered mind, he cleans those errors up, IMO.

But he didn't make errors on those plays. It seemed to be the easy ones.

That's what I mean — on the easy ones, his mind tended to wander. When it's a hot-shot requiring pure reaction, he's all over it.

Gotta be Keppy. This team needs a hitter that is going to hit for a high average, rather than another low average hr hitter. Unless Agon comes back with great D unlike last year.
