Cat's in the Cradle - Harry Chapin

Cat's in the Cradle - Harry Chapin

That song knocks me for a loop to. I hear it in my head when I'm tucking in my boys at night. Am I doing it right . . .

"Imagine"-John Lennon

"In My Life"-The Beatles

"God Only Knows"-Beach Boys

"Thunder Road"-Bruce Springsteen

"It Was A Very Good Year"-Frank Sinatra

"Over The Rainbow"-Judy Garland

"Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer"-Gene Autry

"Mack The Knife"-Bobby Darin

For songs that mean something to me just because I think they're that awesome:

Nada - The Refreshments

Banditos - The Refreshments

Soul to Squeeze - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana

Adam's Song - Blink182

Losing My Religion - REM

Aenima - Tool (I think this is the right song... the one that goes "learn to swim")

Hurt - Nine Inch Nails (though the Johnny Cash version is a bit more chilling)

...too many to list.

"Talking Vietnam Blues" by Johnny Cash and "Rooster" by Alice In Chains both hit me hard right in the gut.

Cat's in the Cradle - Harry Chapin

Same here I always have that song on a cd.

This is one of my favorites too. Not that it means something to me but I love it. The video is pretty cool too.

Black- Pearl Jam...... If that doesnt give you goosebumps you arent living. Definitely a song that by the middle you are clenching your fist and belting out the lyrics along with Eddie Vedder and it doesnt matter where you are.

Great song!

"Going The Distance" by CAKE

Love that song....................DADADADADADADADA donanana

Happy Birthday.........Means I'm getting presents!:dancingpa

I can only Imagine...........Mercy Me (Best Song Ever)

One Shinning Moment.......David Barrett

Sweet Child O'Mine........Guns N Roses

"In the Ghetto" by Elvis makes me think of my tough childhood growing up on the mean streets of Flatwoods, Kentucky BEFORE they put the sidewalk through town and a McDonalds! We had it rough, but somehow a footlong from L and J's or a Zebra from Edmonds made it all okay.
