The shaft goes to.....

Featured Replies

Kansas strength of schedule was 109th out of 119 and Missouri beat them head to head. Missouri did lose twice, both to Oklahoma, who would have beaten Kansas twice if they had played them. Who did Kansas beat this year that had a winning record?

Easy with the logic, that’s not in the BCS formula...:D

Can we get back on track. I seriously think Mizzo got the shaft bad. I know they didn't win last night. The way it is set up they should have thrown the Kansas game so Kansas could get beat by Okl then Mizzo would have been in the BCS! Sad but true!

I'm not defending them, I'm just trying to figure out the logic they might have used to shaft Missouri.

Illinois has no business in the BCS IMO.

I think they only got in because the Rose Bowl wanted to keep the Pac 10/Big 10 matchup and Ohio State was already in the NC.

I would say Oregon and Oklahoma got screwed the most when their QB's got hurt because if they hadn't we would be watching an excellent championship game. Seriously though, Mizzou got seriously screwed.

Thw BCA is stupid it counts on what you do your last week WAY to much. Say WV lost to PITT at midseason or earlier then won out They wouldn't be all the way down at 9. Lose a game or two in your first few weeks you are OK, but get a L at the end of the year you are screwed no matter who you play VS then.

I would have to disagree here, didn't LSU lose their last regular season game, and they're in the National Championship game. West Virginia lost to a bad Pitt team that's why they dropped so far.

I think Mizzou gets the biggest shaft

The Rose Bowl/Big 10/ Pac 10 have all let it known that they would rather stay loyal to their conference tie-ins for this matchup than take in those more deserving.

Georgia not being in the SEC Title game is what hurt them.

Oklahoma is going to man handle WVU.

Georgia will have their way with Hawaii.

I agree.

I agree.

Kentucky should be in the NC game. I really don't see why they didn't make it. I mean they beat LSU ( THE GREATEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAM OF ALL TIME ) how could they not be?? They have Andre Woodson ( THE GREATEST QB OF ALL TIME )...I am about to e-mail the BCS morons about this one.

Why don't you let everyone think you are ignorant, rather than continue to make post that remove all doubts?

First of all I expect LSU to beat OSU handily. Having said that so many people believe that as well makes me think OSU will win. If that made zero sense then I'm sorry.

I agree with every single thing you said.

Oklahoma will DESTROY WVU and Georgia will do the same to Hawaii IMO.

Oklahoma is going to man handle WVU.

Is that like when Georgia was going to crush them two years ago??? :sssh:
