The preview isn't even out and you are already assuming your school will get no love. So, who do you think should be on the cover and get the most coverage? I think that Elliott should.

True, If Ashland wins by 1, then it is normally...."Ashland stomps....."

 

Some things dont change. My biggest problem with the Daily Independent is NO involvement in the Youth leagues.

Ashlands preview tomorrow will be read by subscribers in Boyd, Lawrence, Elliott, LEWIS,

Johnson, Carter and probably other counties. I would hope that for the business ends sake they appreciate all those customers no matter how small an area.

I think they do a fair job of the schools in the 16th considering they are on one end and most schools are strung out along the 64 corridor. Job well done ADI.

As an AShland fan I think that they should have the most wrote about them just because the ADI is located in Ashland. I think they do a very good job covering every school and I look forward to reading it.

It is a regional Paper. The Daily Independent. Nowhere is there Ashland in the name. Now back in the 1920's when Ashland was the only big school in the area and dominant it was the Ashland Daily independent. But it is not supposed to be anymore.

Just because Russell has 1 region championship in like 30+ years doesn't really speak positively about the state of their basketball program....honestly thats pretty sad. Especially to throw up a massive 27 points when they finally made it to Rupp.

 

 

But they did win the region that included Ashland that year, right?

 

Russell had some very good teams during that 30 year period that you mentioned. Russell was in the regional tournament and even favored to win it in many of those years. It was frustrating but hardly sad.

Does ADI put the preview online so people can print the rosters? And if so, where is it at? Thanks
