Well, I live in BOYD COUNTY, and last time I check ashland was a small city in my county, so I think they should cover the bigger area...........

 

The bigger area.....maybe. But who has the most people? Who has more paying customers? That would be Ashland. That's like saying that Alaska should get more national coverage because it's the biggest state. It's all about population and interest. The ADI is an Ashland newspaper!!! It only makes since that Ashland teams get a bit more coverage. There is always someone who is not happy and someone always gets jealous but it's unrealistic to think that the ADI can cover every game in the area. It's just unrealistic! With that said, I think the ADI does a great job of covering the other schools in the area. I think that they did an excellant job covering Russell's state championship and runner-up finish the past couple years. My brother played on those teams and I was very pleased with the plubicity that he and the Devils recieved from the ADI. I also thought they covered Elliott well last year and I don't even know if the ADI is issued in Elliott .

What bigger area? What is the biggest city in Boyd County?

 

Who cares about the city....its all a small part of BOYD CO........ If I go to ashland I am in Boyd Co...If i go to Catlettsburg, I am in Boyd Co.....If I go to westwood I am in Boyd Co.... If I go to Rush....Boyd Co....Burnaugh...Boyd Co....... I could go on and on......

There are 25,000 people in Ashland.........There are 67000 in Boyd Co (Which is also ashland) But the area is bigger.......
