Well I think that the paper down a very fine job talking about the other teams and players. As for the pictures in the paper with Ashland players in it, who cares. Last year in the regional, as stated ealier, Ashland played most of the important games. Maybe the paper shouldnt of covered the regional championship game last year because Ashland was in it. I think that I have been one of the biggest Ashland critics this year but I cant just let all of this bashing go on without commenting on it. Elliot Co. is the team to beat this year and have probably the best 3 players in the region and I think that they were represented well.

 

The only thing I could complain about is that they didnt list the starting 5 for every team like they had done in the past.

I am utterly suprised with the preview, this question is me not being biased towards the rams but do you all think that Selby is better than Sparks??

I know in years past, it has eventually be available online. So as someone stated above, I'm guessing it will be put up on their site in the next day or two.

 

I have no comment towards the Independent and their coverage of the Ashland Tomcats cause I enjoy my account here on BGP very much. :lol:

Read the preview and I can't believe the sandy Hook bias of DI! You would think they're wasn't anyone else around but Elliott County! Who do they think are anyway? I don't know if it was Mark Maynard leaving the sports department or if the have just cut resources, but the preview is not nearly as good as it used to be.

You know I looked at it again and I just don't know. It just seems to be of lesser quality. Maybe its the format or the print, I don't know. But I thought the last few years it just seems like they keep cutting it back. It used to be 3-4 pages on every team. Now it is 1-2.

Over all Sparks is better, but no way can he handle selby under the basket.

As an AShland fan I think that they should have the most wrote about them just because the ADI is located in Ashland. I think they do a very good job covering every school and I look forward to reading it.

 

Well, I live in BOYD COUNTY, and last time I check ashland was a small city in my county, so I think they should cover the bigger area...........

I do believe that the ADI does have the word Ashland in the name of the paper.
