I'm 100% confident that there will be no more celebration flags on CJ this year. He explained why he did it, and this team needed some sort of spark, and him getting to the endzone gave them just that. He does far more good for this team and city than bad, and yet the only thing you guys talk about is the bad stuff.

You are completely wrong, look at my previous posts, this is the first time I have EVER gotten on CJ...

As much as people talk about Chad being selfish if you listen to any interview with TJ is very obvious how selfish he is too.

I'm not talking about you specifically. There have been numerous people in this thread sharing your opinion, and those same ones get on Chad every single week.

He's probably one of the biggest jerks on the team as well. Just not a very nice person.

You'll just see him crying about not getting the ball enough....

Even Marvin Harrison gets upset when he feels the ball isn't thrown his way enough. There's a difference between thinking you're not being used in the right way, and blatantly breaking a rule causing a 15 yard penalty...

I agree... I have nothing wrong with Chad celebrating, just do it within the guidelines to the point where it doesn't hurt the team.

I understand your point, and as I said, I don't see him doing anything like that again this year. The only reason he did it the first time was because it had been so long between TDs, kinda like he just wanted to let everyone know he was back.

That's probably true, I was just disappointed because this is the first time that Chad has actually gotten a celebration penalty, I believe...

Would it have been best if Chad had not gotten a 15 yard penalty? Yes

Could it have hurt them? Maybe

Is it worth talking about for more than a moment or two? Probably not

It was stupid but not as big of a deal as you guys are making it thats for sure.

He was lucky someone didn't drill him as he sat there during a live play. Honestly I didn't think he'd make it through this season. Lot nasty guys gunning for him. And by the way he goes after the ball I think he knows it.

But it didn't, so it's a non-issue, or at least it should be.

So in your world, we wait to address it AFTER it costs us a game?

Interesting management style, Marv.

This provided ZERO spark. That's only in Chadworld.

You're telling me that Chad grabbing a camera was a spark?:lol:

Please...

:thumb: The guy irks me the completely wrong way. I wouldn't lose any sleep over him getting traded, whether it is for my dislike for him, or my equally biased opinion that he is expendable.

He loses the arrogant athlete bit and he is a key member of any future success of this team and I would be a fan of his. Just don't like athletes who think they are more important than the team. And his actions shows he does.
