So do you hold the guys who garner facemasking penalties, holding penalties and pass interference penalties to the same standard? All of those require a conscious decision to break the rules, very rarely are they accidental.

I will never be a fan of one person showing off knowing that it's going to hurt their team. It's not like he hasn't gotten in trouble before. Give me a team guy all day every day over a guy that feels like he needs to draw attention to himself with some side show antics. He would be money in the bank in the WWE:lol: It is nice to see him produce. They are a different offense with Henry around! I'm not crazy about his past either and it's going to take along time before I am sold that he can stay out of trouble. He sure makes them tough to defend with him TJ and CJ on the field!

None of these are done in order to gain attention... However, a late hit, or some other stupid 15 yard penalty would go in the same boat..

November 26, 200718 yr Here is how mad Marvin was after Chad got the TD and penalty... This is also the reason they suck. Get a dumb 15 yard penalty for celebrating after a TD, no biggie. Take a swing at a coach in a home playoff game that you're winning b/c the ball isn't thrown to you, no biggie. Different rules and no discipline starts from the coach w/ a below 500 career winning percentage.
November 26, 200718 yr Nice to see the Bengals play up to the level they can play. I heard Peter King say last night that Chad thinks they can run the table. Boomer was all over Chad for the 15-yard penalty and putting Marvin in a bad position as a coach where he has to have double standards for players and then Chad.
November 26, 200718 yr I love all of your all comments about selfishness from him..All of his teammates always say that he is not the selfish guy fans and media try to make him out to be, that he does care about winning more than anything. His teammates and former coaches even were telling him this week to just go back to his old self out there and have fun. And that is exactly what he did,with a GREAT game today... Your post is ironically funny. Consider this. Marvin puts a strict policy on all the players on what they can say to the media and what they cannot say. Except for Chad, who gets free reign to do whatever. Remember at the beginning of the season where Levi said some things and then got in trouble for speaking to the media. So, of course the players say one thing publically. BUT THEN, you have media people like a Boomer Esiason, who you would assume knows something about the Bengals lockerroom, who says the Bengals players are tired of Chad and his antics and the double standard that happens with Chad. Chad is a great talent and I wish he would act as well has his talent is. I am entertained by the Bengals playing well and competing and winning NOT his dance. I received as much entertainment by him jumping in the arms of his OL as him behind the camera. ESPECIALLY, since the Bengals received a 15-yard penalty for the camera deal and at that time could have been a huge negative to the game. Thankfully, the Titans offense could not take advantage of it.
