CJ : Good Lord. Can't he see the forest for the trees? It cannot be about HIM.

I will say this - he is absolutely the best at getting two feet down.

I love all of your all comments about selfishness from him..All of his teammates always say that he is not the selfish guy fans and media try to make him out to be, that he does care about winning more than anything. His teammates and former coaches even were telling him this week to just go back to his old self out there and have fun. And that is exactly what he did,with a GREAT game today...

You can't have fun w/o costing your team 15 yards on the next play? Stupid, stupid penalty.

WHO DEY!

Thats what Bengals fans say when they win a game, hadnt heard it much lately! Had forgot what it was. :laugh:

I said it all day, but it was in a literal sense. We weren't playing the Ravens, so I was really wondering...

That was an especially weak attempt....

The only downside I saw on D was Dexter Jackson....Man is he awful.

Chris Henry makes this offense go. Him being on the field opens the playbook up so much, and allows Chad and TJ to find their spots.

Palmer was spot on today, which is good to see.

I quoted my favorite comments.

I think Dexter has lost a couple of steps. I expect the Bengals to cut him at the end of the year.

I agree Chris helps the offense go but imagine how good the offense could be if both Perry and Irons were healthy?

No doubt on Palmer.

What I don't like about today (and I loved today) is games like this muddy the water when trying to diagnose problems with the Bengals.

The good news is with a good draft, some players back from injury, and a little (OK, a lot) of luck the 2008 Bengals will be a force.

Tennessee was 2 of 10 on third down.

The Bengals were 14 of 18 on third down.

The most telling stat in football...

Albert Haynesworth was the Bengals MVP of the game.

I agree with all that you said. I think they will cut Dexter only if they think that Chinedum Ndukwe is the real deal, and I think that he will mature into a good safety over the offseason. The thing about today is that they can't make it to the playoffs, and now that they are out of the race, they start winning possibly and lost the really high draft pick to draft the best LB or Dorsey or McFadden? It does not make sense, they have no motivation to win now they really have no chance to make the playoffs and they start winning, but they lose when the had a chance to make the playoffs.

I know this is getting way ahead of ourselves, but if they can find a way to win in Pittsburgh next week, which they've been able to do recently, they have a real possibility of running the table.

The remaining schedule looks like this:

@Pittsburgh

St. Louis

@San Francisco

Cleveland

@Miami

The only game they realistically shouldn't win out of those is the Pittsburgh game. I fully expect them to lose at least one of the final four, but a win next week, could make things very interesting, and a 9-7 may be enough to get them to the postseason. Not likely, but still within the realm of possibility.

To get a 15 yard penalty that allows the other team to get points is selfish.

I thought he wasn't celebrating anymore b/c they were losing and there was no reason to celebrate. That's what he said and you agreed. Myself and some others said it was b/c he hasn't scored since week 2. Who was right?

Honestly, I think he realized he screwed up, and that's why we didn't see it on the other two TDs.

This was my first ever nfl game, and it was great. I couldnt believe how fast the game went.

Hopefully I can go to some more games this season.

It time for the usual playoff push, since they are almost out of it!!

I sat two rows behind some Trinity people that were yelling for Bironas. Must've gone to school with him, although he didn't recognize them.
