In the article I got it from your right Palmer didn't actually have a quote. They just took what he had mentioned before, that he liked the old Chad..And even if Willie and Chad don't get along, he did say that if Chad needed to talk then he should talk. Also that JUCO coach that you don't put much credence in was a guy who had a big influence on Chad's life and help point Chad in the right direction. So maybe you should put a little credence in what he said, because when you have someone who has played such a big part of your life telling you something, you usually listen. Then well Thorton is a captain of the team, which a captain is usually one of the voices for the team, and well he had no problem with it. Thorton also talked about how Chad is not a distraction at all to anyone on the team, and that they love him. Which goes against everything some of you have said. I think you really are starting to run out of stuff to say here now, because the more and more stuff comes out, the more it looks like he isn't as big of a distraction to the team as you like to believe...Also so what if he didn't score the TD and acted upset about it. I know anytime I came that close to a touchdown and came up a little short, or felt like I should have scored I was upset about it. Actually most football players would be upset about, its just that most people keep it inside. But Chad just shows his emotions, that is how he is. So why should you or anyone get so upset about it...

 

I mean I really dont know why you want to make so a big deal over him about it. People on the team who are actually around him (unlike you) have even said he is a great teammate and works harder than just about everyone in practice and during games. And now this is the first time he has been penalized for his celebrations ever, and he has done a lot of them. And well as I have shown you that there is good reason to believe that his teammates actually might have told him to go ahead and celebrate if he scores. So there was no problem with that, and his teammates didn't have a problem with him for doing it, so why should you? As I said before if he starts getting flags thrown on him every week for celebrations then I sure his teammates and I well start to have a problem with it. No, BASICALLY what I am looking for is a player who , while not liking the rule, follows it without causing his team to give up a FG prior to the half while the game is still in doubt. I don't care what the rules are. I just want them followed.

 

Maybe its just me but I like my team to be a TEAM and not have one player intentionally disregard the rules all in the name of "look at me" and a coach with the cajones to call him out on it.

Also you keep saying that I am guessing. But I have shown facts from the quotes teammates on his team have said who are CAPTAINS on the team. And as I said if Chad is such a negative influence on the Bengals, then the Bengals have lot bigger problems that thier captains wont call him out on it. However they have not done that all, the captains of the team actually back him up..

That's usually not made public. Every game there is one person, often an ex-player, whose sole job is to monitor players uniforms looking for violations. It rarely makes the news.
