Read the posts, LSU got beat, most people are disappointed, most people don't want to see a national title game comprised of lesser quality teams. Considering there is no playoff option to settle all disputes, and there never will be, I'm going to complain when someone like Ohio St. or Kansas sneaks into the NC game after playing a powder puff schedule. I personally don't like Ohio St. (and if you read more than ten posts from Ohio St. fans you can probably guess why) but I could care less whether we are talking about them, Kansas, Hawaii, or any other overrated team. Go back and read them and I believe that it won't be long before you see it. (if you want to see it) as for any other comments - I will refer them as well as this one to my post #35 above on this thread. "Should others have won games that they were supposed to win then OSU would not be in the picture." I know one thing, should there be two teams other than Ohio State in the NC I will post my congrats to them and I will watch the game. That imo is what any true college football fan would do. As for the "it's not all about Ohio State" comment :sleep:.....I didn't say that it was . Others sure seemed to though........ :laugh::walk:
November 24, 200718 yr WOW!!! The SEC is a tough conference. These teams just beat up each other all season long. It's unreal! IMO, if LSU, and probably several more SEC teams, were in any of the other top conferences, they would be undefeated right now. That speaks good for the conference, but it's a hard road for an SEC team to survive the SEC, much less win the national title.
November 24, 200718 yr I was on the road so I missed the game. I'm not all that shocked though. I honestly just don't think there is ONE team that is just so dominating that they are the best this year. I thought LSU had as much talent as anybody but never felt like they were so dominant that they couldn't lose like some of the winners in the past. I've said it for weeks and you can chalk it up that it will be all over the talk shows this week McFadden is McNasty! What a crazy job Nutt has done! He's great, he's fired, he beats #1? If you all are bored Hawaii + Boise State play tonight. The winner is staring a BCS game right in the eye! I've also said for weeks that WVU is slowly but surely climbing right up the boards. HUGE game with UCONN tomorrow! Ending: Who would have ever thought that Kansas and Mizzo would be playing the biggest game of the year the last week of college football regular season!!!! I knew Mizzo was one of the best up and coming programs but WOW! Kansas vs Mizzo Hawaii vs Boise State...... You have to love the parity we are seeing in college football these days! It's getting up there with the NFL! Next thing you know the Dolphins will knock off the Pats:)

November 24, 200718 yr The SEC has beat up on one another all year long, guess they'll show how football is played come bowl season. I do agree with this. One reason why it is so tough for an SEC team to get the NC is the reason that you have stated (they beat up on one another). I do think that LSU whether they want to admit it or not had to be thinking some on Miles and if he was going to Michigan or not. That imo was a distreaction this past week even if they say it wasn't. JMO

November 24, 200718 yr IF McFadden is not the Heisman winner then there is not one.............period. Over 200 yards rushing at Tiger Stadium in knocking off the #1 ranked team in the country. Nuff Said............Mcfadden is the best football player in the country. He was last season.
