Kansas has managed to play a weaker schedule than Ohio St. so far, but if they somehow beat Missouri and Oklahoma I will at least bite my tongue and suck it up.

I agree with you that the SEC is the best conference in the country. How many Losses would OSU have in the SEC "IF" they played in it?........... "IF" a Frog had Wings.......... I just noticed your post on this thread. The facts are that there have been several teams is season ranked very high and if they had taken care of their own business and won games that they were supposed to win then we wouldn't be having this conversation. More than one team has had the chance to lock down and keep the #1 and #2 rankings and have not done it. OSU lost, There were plenty on here that were celebrating that fact and saying that they (Buckeyes) were finally exposed. I do believe that there have been several others exposed as well:sssh:. So.... All the Buckeye haters just keep it up, your teams haven't taken care of their own business either and those teams have no one to blame but themselves. OSU and WV would be a good match up. I really think WV would struggle to stop the passing game. Mauk and UC put on a nice aerial show but SHOULD have thrown more. I am NOT sold on WV pass D at all. And of course Beanie would probably get his 100 yards. OSU would have to stop or at least slow down the running attack. I think we would see a 30-20 score. But the OSU defense is better.

You guys love putting yourselves at the focal center of every possible college football related conversation. Read the posts, LSU got beat, most people are disappointed, most people don't want to see a national title game comprised of lesser quality teams. Considering there is no playoff option to settle all disputes, and there never will be, I'm going to complain when someone like Ohio St. or Kansas sneaks into the NC game after playing a powder puff schedule. I personally don't like Ohio St. (and if you read more than ten posts from Ohio St. fans you can probably guess why) but I could care less whether we are talking about them, Kansas, Hawaii, or any other overrated team. It's not all about you Ohio St.!

November 24, 200718 yr One interesting point... if OSU had won out then of course they are gauranteed in. LSU would have lost the right to play them tonight instead of give them a chance to sneak back in.
