November 24, 200718 yr How can you not like this? We got what we needed badly and suddenly this bully doesn't look so horrible. Burton/ Weather for 7th/8th(either or) and Cordero for the 9th. I like that a lot.

November 24, 200718 yr Chances are his trade value will always remain pretty high, so I don't see the amount of the contract as much of an issue. Sign him up Wayne...
November 24, 200718 yr I don't know enough about Cordero, or how big of a deal his contract is relatively speaking to make any educated comment, but it looks good to me from here. If they are going to raise ticket prices and expect people to fill seats they better write some checks.
November 24, 200718 yr Cordero throws in the high 90's he has a lot of experience but has struggled at times. What closer hasn't? He has averaged 36 saves and 81 K's over the past 3 years. With a high of 49 saves in one year.
November 24, 200718 yr I would assume that Johjima kid. He is talented. He was a nice hitter a couple of years ago. It seems like he struggled or was out early last year but started hitting better. That plus extra money is nice:)

November 24, 200718 yr I like the fact that the Reds are, at the very least, making an effort to put a good team on the field.
November 24, 200718 yr I would assume that Johjima kid. He is talented. He's not exactly a kid though. He'll be 32 next June.
