November 25, 200718 yr Yes. I have never seen it anywhere else...It's a pretty common nickname for anyone who plays 3B. In fact this friend of my dad's had an accident a few years back, and they set up a fund to help pay his medical expenses and they called it the E5 Fund.

Go search any Reds forum for the common nickname for him to be E-5. I know it's not on Fay's blog, Trent's blog, Redzone or any other I've seen. You must be bored...

Nope, just played the game. I know of at least 3 people we were affectionately referred to as E5 as a nickname. A lot of Yankees fans call ARod E5.

November 25, 200718 yr I guess if you wanna look at things pessimisticly then that is your opinion. But I like our look on the diamond. Hamilton, assuming he stays has a lot of upside. Keppinger has a lot of upside. If Phillips and E-5 bring their games up even just a tad bit this is a very solid offense. Also have a lot of flexibility on the diamond with Kepp, Gonzo, Phillips, Hopper and Hatte. Before 98 started forcing his softball glory years upon us, I forgot to mention you forgot Cantu. He is going to be a big player next year IMO...
November 25, 200718 yr So you don't remember anyone at all calling Edwin E-5? Outside of BGP I have never seen it...
November 25, 200718 yr I like this but that is alot of money. Where did we come up with that money at?
